Winery offers unique opportunity to sample select vintages and blends yet to bottled
Temecula, CA (June 14, 2011) – Stuart Cellars Vineyard & Winery (“Stuart Cellars”) welcomes wine enthusiasts to partake in the 7th Annual Futures Barrel Tasting event. Guests will sample 10 select wines straight from their barrels at the only futures tasting event in Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country. This is a unique opportunity to taste Stuart Cellars handcrafted Zinfandel, Cab Franc, Melbec, Petite Verdot, and many more. Each featured barrel will be joined with a special food pairing to enhance the food and wine relationship.
“The opportunity to sample futures is the ultimate experience in wine tasting,” says Marshall Stuart. “It’s exciting for us to share the fruits of our labor in the way of a sneak preview. Our futures event maximizes the anticipation for those who know what they like and it gives them a taste of what’s to come.”
Each of the wines making a debut at the annual Futures Barrel Tasting will be offered at a remarkable discount, rewarding wine enthusiasts for their patience. These wines will be bottled and ready for pickup anywhere from six to 12 months after the event.
Chef Michael Cragg from Temecula Valley Catering Company embraces Stuart Cellars wines to create delicious fare expressly for the specific varietals being presented. Whether for marinating or for savoring, Stuart Cellars wines take center stage during this culinary journey into the future.
Guests will dine al fresco under the star-filled skies with the melodic rhythm of the Mark Sage Band. The seven piece musical group performs Americana folk music with a touch of bluesy rock & roll setting the ambiance for yet another night to remember at the hilltop winery.
