Sunday – 6:00am – 6:00pm

Where: Lake Skinner -Recreation Area 37701 Warren Rd. Winchester, CA 92596

Balloon Glow: This year during the Friday evening (June 3rd) balloon glow, Festival organizers are asking guests to help to set a world record for the largest glow stick design. Spectators at the Main Stage will be given glow sticks provided by Riverside County Parks and Waste Management. The spectators will then be arranged in the shape of a hot air balloon on the amphitheater lawn.

YOU can help set a WORLD RECORD on Friday, June 3rd at the Festival. The making of the “largest glowstick design” – as soon as it gets dark.

Balloon Launches: Hot air balloons will float over Lake Skinner and Temecula’s Wine Country both Saturday and Sunday at dawn. One of the several balloons is “Friends of Smokey,” which was created for the National Association of State Foresters and the U.S. Forest Service. “Smokey” will be joined by another specialty shaped balloon – the “Champagne Bottle” – during the festival.

Enjoy a memorable experience and book a hot air balloon flight. Your journey will begin at sunrise as the balloon lifts gently into the sapphire skies above Lake Skinner. The 40-50 minute flight majestically lifts passengers over the Festival and often takes them over vineyards and the surrounding terrain. For those who want to “try” their “wings” without letting go… the Festival offers free tethered rides Saturday and Sunday morning after the launch. These balloon rides are about 10 minutes. For reservations, contact 1-800-965-2122.

Food Court: A variety of food will be offered, which will include Mexican, Greek, Chinese, Italian, Funnel Cakes, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Sandwiches, BBQ, Tri-Tip, Sausages, Fries, Kettle corn, Smoothies, Shaved Ice, Coffee, Soda, Lemonade, and Ice Cream.

Food & Wine Pairing: Experience some of the best food and wine that the Temecula Valley has to offer. Participate in a three-course culinary experience, with each course prepared by a different chef and each one offering a different complimentary wine. A speaker from each winery, whose wine is featured, will give a short narrative on the selected wine as well as answer questions from the select group of participants. Some of the participating restaurants and wineries are Shorty’s Bistro at Mount Palomar Winery, Creekside Grille at Wilson Creek Winery, Mount Palomar, Wiens Family Cellars, Atwood Estate Vineyards, Robert Renzoni Vineyards, Palumbo Family Vineyards & Winery, and Frangipani Estate Winery, Monte de Oro Winery, Boorman Vineyards, D’Canters Wine Bar & Grill in Wildomar, Rustico Ristorante & Pizzeria, Raviolis, Lazy Dog Cafe, Smokey Mountain Catering, and the Gambling Cowboy of Old Town Temecula.
