Tamarindo is such a delicious culinary treat; for years the tender pulp of the Tamarind fruit has been extracted to make desserts, cakes, candies, and Aguas Frescas. Hennessy Privilége mixologists have created this fabulous cocktail infusing the rich flavors of Tamarindo and Cinnamon with the classic French cognac.
Hennessy Privilége Tamarindo
2 oz. Hennessy Privilége
1.5 oz. Simple Syrup (or 3/4 oz. Agave Nectar)
1 oz. Tamarind Purée
Splash fresh Lime juice
2 oz. Club Soda
Garnish: Brown Sugar and Cinammon mixture to rim the glass and Cinnamon Stick
Pour ingredients (except for club soda) into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into an ice-filled glass rimmed with brown sugar and cinnamon, top with the club soda, and garnish with cinnamon stick.
