Beautiful restaurant. A-listers. Fabulous food. Is this Hollywood? No, it’s The Edge in Old Town Temecula. From imported Italian flaming tower heaters to waterfalls on walls and plush seating…it’s hard to believe this hot spot is in our own backyard! Owners Malcolm and Judy welcomed over 50 Taste of Temecula guests on Wednesday where wine flowed freely, conversation was lively, and networking was the name of the game.
Our eclectic lunch bunch, which included professionals such as Lisa from the rock duet Deek and Long, Ricardo from IKON salon, writer and publisher Sue Richter, and realtor Alex Paolone was offered a tantalizing $10 menu including chunky bbq ribs, chicken salad on ciabatta, and sliders to die for! The ToT team was there in full force as Ian and Rusti announced the much anticipated launch of our Daily Pairing which opened on Thursday! Our first offering is from the Old Town Sweet Shop and as a teaser, the gang got to sample some of their melt-in-your mouth chocolate drops. In addition to free wine and chocolates, business cards were collected for a chance to win generous gifts from Silpada jewelry, Michi Handbags, NC3 Fitness, Celebrity Lipsticks, and our hosts, The Edge. Lucky recipients received gift bags, gift certificates, and free passes!
Not just an elegant atmosphere, The Edge boasts of a knowledgeable and fun staff who offers up old-fashioned service. Their charming manager, Rick, extended an invitation to attend Comedy Night on Wednesday’s beginning at 8:30 pm and is hosted by Rocky and friends. Or swing by on Thursdays for Ladies Night. Oh, yeah, that’s right…Happy Hour prices on food and drinks all night long for the ladies! Plus, every Friday and Saturday you can dance or chill to live local bands.
Take your out-of-town guests or that special someone to this classy restaurant that’s designed to impress. Order the flaming Spanishtini from Tyler (the sweetest bartender around), or try one of Chef Chris’ tempting veal short ribs topped with sweet creamed potatoes mascarpone or his equally decadent veal skirt steak with wild mushroom fricassee’ made from golden ale beer butter and served with a Wiens cab (I don’t know, maybe he was just trying for brownie points with the writer, but who am I to argue!). A smashing good time and huge thank you to The Edge for an unforgettable power lunch.
Taste of Temecula is tempting everyone through outrageous, off-the-hook deals with their new Daily Pairings. ToT continues to bring professionals together through their lunches offered at some of the finest dining spots around, and this hot & happening group is mixing it up with their Thursday night, “Is it Friday yet?” gatherings. Are you part of the In-Crowd? You, too, can be “IN” – all you have to do is show up! Looking forward to seeing you at our next hip venue.
