Dust off your boots and get ready for a stompin’ good time! Temecula Live! is back at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater on January 28th and 29th. The “Patriotic” theme for this year’s event will offer modern country music and comedy set in Grand Ole Opry style with The Ranch Rockers as the house band. A slightly different style of country music on each performance, there’s something for everyone depending on which show you choose: Friday is “Rock It Out, Make It Loud;” Saturday matinee is “Youngn’s and Young At Heart;” and the Saturday evening show is “Come One, Come All.”
Show times are Friday, January 28th at 7pm and Saturday, January 29th at 2pm and 7pm. A VIP reception for sponsors, performers and volunteers hosted by Oak Grove Center for Treatment, Education & the Arts is scheduled for the same Saturday at 6pm.
Over forty local performers will take their country music talents to the stage over the course of the event. Most recognizable are Skyler Day, Hayley Stayner, The Brewer Boys and Jessica Tourino:
Skyler Day has an active country music and acting profession having just completed appearances on CSI Miami and Law & Order as well as several Disney Channel shows. Skyler also does voiceovers and original songs for television and movies.
Hayley Stayner has performed at Temecula Live! for five straight years. She just released her first CD and won “Female Entertainer of the Year” in her age group by the West Coast Country Music Association. In March, Hayley will represent Southern California at the National Awards in Tennessee. Hayley had the privilege to perform at this year’s Wagon Wheel Country Music Festival, where she shared the stage with Lee Ann Womack, Dierks Bentley, Jimmy Wayne and Emerson Drive.
The Brewer Boys recently brought down the house at the 2010 Wagon Wheel Festival in Lake Elsinore. They have appeared in Country Weekly Magazine and performed the National Anthem at the Final Rodeo Championship in 2008. Returning to Temecula Live!, the Brewer Boys bring with them fans from as far as Germany.
Palm Springs Rodeo Queen Jessica Tourino will perform at Temecula Live! at the Saturday evening show, just before she competes in the Miss Rodeo California 2011. Jessica has a large collection of awards from rodeo competitions and recently started an online retail store called The Dirty Cowgirl where she sells apparel and accessories for women.
