A Bit Of “Sugar “ Sweetens Up the Streets of Old Town Temecula

Hot Summer Nights are finishing in Old Town, but going out with style. I enjoyed cooling off in the summer heat with the soulful sounds of Sugaray Rayford and the Aunt Kizzy’z Boyz at Baily’s Front Street Bar & Grill. If you haven’t seen Sugaray, you must check him out when he comes back. When he belts out a song, you not only hear it, you feel it. Coming from Texas, Sugaray started singing and playing in church – you can hear and feel the gospel influence in his music. Two years ago, he made his switch to contemporary music in the San Diego area, where he sang lead vocals with R&B/Funk band called Urban Gypsys. He shared the stage with many notable artists before dabbling in the blues and realized that was where is heart and soul belonged. That’s when he began his journey to become the lead singer for Aunt Kizzy’z Boyz, a Temecula area blues band. When playing in Temecula, you’ll usually find them in the courtyard of Baily’s on Front Street in Old Town.

Enjoy some cool drinks, do some dancing and have a bite outside at the bar and grill, or go upstairs to fine dine. They are now offering a menu that varies from $15-$34 and for an additional $5 you can make it a 4 course dinner that includes an appetizer, soup or salad, main course and dessert. Add the wine with each course for an additional $20 pp.
