Huge Eats at Arnold’s Li’l Farmhouse

I am a girl who loves a good burger, so I jumped at the chance to dine at Arnold’s Li’l Farmhouse.  Owner Jim Arnold claims to serve the best burger in town, so I felt it was my duty to check it out.  Let me tell you; this burger lives up to they hype!  Not only does Jim bake his buns from scratch daily, but he uses 100% Ground Chuck to make his burger patties.  You know what that means, right?

You can order your burger Medium Rare (cue lights from Heaven and Glorious Music)!

The combination of the fresh baked bun and amazingly juicy patty makes this burger something special.  Now they say you get what you pay for, so prepare to be shocked by the price of this beauty: $3.79!  Unbelievable.

It turns out that Jim makes pretty much everything from scratch on the premises (including French Fries – yum!) and you can taste the difference in the quality of the food at Arnold’s.

His philosophy is to serve real “Old Fashioned” diner food that you might not be able to find just anywhere. I will be returning frequently to sample the Southern Fried Chicken, Homemade Macaroni & Cheese and Hot Real Roast Turkey Sandwich and . . . well; you get the idea.  Arnold’s also serves amazing breakfast all day, so anytime is a good time for Sticky Bun French Toast or Scratch-Made Biscuits with Sausage Gravy. Prices range from just $2.99 – $9.99 and every mouth-watering item on the menu can also be ordered at the convenient drive through.

The story of Arnold’s Li’l Farmhouse started over 60 years ago. Miles Arnold started Arnold’s Family Restaurant and it is still operating today as one of the last cafeterias in Southern California.  Other restaurants followed and Arnold’s Farmhouse was the crown jewel.  Over the years, Jim had it in the back of his head to create a smaller version of the original icon, but needed just the right location.  An avid Harley rider, Jim would cruise 70 miles out to Temecula from Orange County every weekend to ride another 200 miles with his friends.  Soon enough he realized that this was a great place to call home and chose Temecula to make his vision a reality.

Thanks to Jim’s easy-going nature, the vibe in Arnold’s is that of eating Sunday dinner at a friend’s house.  While we were dining, he stopped to chat with many of the patrons and greeted most of them by name. Jim’s goodwill also expands out into the community.  Arnold’s will participate in fundraisers for any group: cheerleading, sports, church; you name it!  Teams that come in after their games in uniform will receive a discount on their meal and regulars keep an eye on their Facebook page for monthly specials as well.  And as a special treat for Taste of Temecula Fans, Arnold’s will be offering a 20% discount through Friday, June 25th. Arnold’s Li’l Farmhouse has an owner with a huge heart who serves huge portions of scratch-made “Old Fashioned” favorites.  Turns out, the only thing “li’l” about Arnold’s is the name.

Arnold’s Li’l Farmhouse is located at: 27300 Jefferson Ave. #A Temecula
