Western days are coming to Old Town May 15th and 16th. Bring your family and friends, activities run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday
The Temecula Gunfighters will be in attendance performing a variety of skits and reenactments, culminating with the high-noon robbery and shoot-out at The Bank.
Other activities include calf roping, pony rides, music and period costumes. Take a ride on a stagecoach and see if you can find a buck board. Find out where the term ‘riding shotgun’ really came from.
Chili Cook Off
The International Chili Society is hosting the annual Temecula Chili cook off Saturday May 16th. Three categories are available to competitors; red chili, chili verde and salsa. A Peoples Choice award will also be presented.
Cooking starts at 9:00 am with judging happening around lunch time. The public my begin tasting at 1:00, and at 4:00 the days winners will be announced. The winner will be awarded a grand prize of $500. To register fill out the application here.
