Walking into Duke’s Mesquite Broiler, the smoky smell of tri-tip cooked to perfection hangs in the air.
Taste of Temecula had a fun-filled friends and fans meet up, once again. Over 20 people turned out from the valley. Friends from Connolly Commercial,Wilson Creek Winery, Stone Brewing Co and Black Market Brewing Co, Cougar Vineyards , Masia De Yabar, Abbott and those who have the liberty of enjoying an impromptu lunch without worrying about punching a clock.
Scot and Karen Lohman turned out some fantastic tri-tip sandwiches, fabulous chicken and tasty grilled white fish. “Oh wow! Look at that” was heard across every table and I have never seen so much food disappear so quickly. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the amount of food on your plate. It’s great place to see our friends who are starting to visit with us regularly, as well as new faces each week. Don’t ever hesitate to come join us, because of not knowing anyone. By the end of lunch, you will have made new friends and wonder why you haven’t gone before. We were honored to have Black Market Brewery pouring their growlers of Hefenweizen which will soon be on draft at Duke’s. Scot was mixing up his top three rated Signature Margaritas. The secret, Scot says, is the free pour of shots. Duke’s is the place to go with friends or family if you want to hang out and kick back after a busy week. Dukes has a fantastic patio with great music too that I imagine will be packed just as soon as the weather heats up.
Keep posted for our next Friends and Fans meet up so you can come join us.
