Last years harvest has been slumbering away for the Winter and is now ready for barrel tasting. Malolactic fermentation is complete and the wine has had time to rest. Some wines will be bottled for immediate consumption, and others will continue their quiet slumber for a few more years.
Join us in celebrating the World of Wine March sixth and seventh, from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Most wineries offer 2 – 4 tastes and typically a paired appetizer or two. It is a fun two days, and there are some new wineries on the roster this year, which really makes the entire event more exciting. $90 for both days however locals get a big break for Sunday only, $60.00. Not a bad deal, and a great reason to live in Wine Country.
Twenty Seven wineries in total will be participating. If that is not enough libation for you, head over to Old Town after words and enjoy the fruits of the labor of six more tasting rooms.
