Winemaker Dinners, Retail Tastings, and Ticketed Tasting Events to Showcase Over 40 Paso Robles Wineries February 23-25, 2010

Paso Robles, CA (Jan. 28, 2010) – Paso Robles Wine Country, one of the nation’s premier wine producing regions, announced today its schedule of events for the 2010 Grand Tasting Tour – San Diego, scheduled February 23-25, 2010 in San Diego. Over 40 winemakers from California’s third largest wine producing region showcase their award-winning and nationally acclaimed wines in eleven events, including winemaker dinners, wine retailer tastings, a trade tasting and two ticketed tasting events open to the public.

“Wineries from Paso Robles have seen increased demand from Southern California wine enthusiasts looking to taste the region’s award-winning wines and travel to wine country in search of new discoveries,” said Stacie Jacob, executive director of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance. “This three-day visit to San Diego brings the world of Paso Robles wines to the doorstep of San Diegans with numerous opportunities at different value levels to taste the celebrated varietals and meet the winemakers from Paso Robles Wine Country.”

Paso Robles Wine Country Grand Tasting: Thursday, February 25:

The 2010 Grand Tasting Tour is the region’s 6th annual tour dedicated to bringing the Paso Robles Wine Country experience into top cities across the nation. San Diego is the first and only stop in Southern California, with only three total Grand Tasting Tour events scheduled for the year.
